"Scott was wonderful from start to finish. He came out and provided an estimate and was ready to start once we gave him the green light. He handled all correspondence with the Village of Frankfort to obtain the work permit and shared every step of the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the reason for the split from the brick work and drywall. Upon one visual inspection, he was able to determine the materials that would match. While I was nervous about the possibility of the materials not matching, honestly... you cannot tell the rework was not included in the original build. He and his team did a beautiful job with the reconstruction! Greatly appreciated!"

"We hired Johns to fix a roof issue we were having as well as tuckpoint and fix all of our lintels (which were causing water to come into our house) and reseal the brick/block. We also had them rebuild and put siding on a small area of our house. The work went well, scheduling was easy and the only issues we encountered were rain delays (but having the work done in May/June that s what we expected). They completed it all in a timely manner (it was a lot of work!) and were quick to address issues we were having with additional water coming in. They made sure to explain to us along the way what the issues were and kept us informed of any price increases due to unexpected issues with our house. Overall we are very pleased with the work done and felt like they were very understanding of our budget, timeline, etc. Definitely recommend!"

The measuring and installation of the customized decking, railing, stairs, bead board was precise. His crew constructed four stone columns for the front porch that are perfect. His painters did a great job staining the new lattice and pergola . His crew were real craftsman; very friendly, hard working, and kept the construction area very clean. The work was completed on-time, and the add-ons were very fairly priced. Every part of the experience exceeded our expectations"

"Good experience. Workmen wore booties, kept my house clean, gave me honest assessment of what I needed. The stone at the back of my fireplace was cracked and the serviceman told me how to fix it myself for a low cost. He inspected my chimneys on my roof, took digital photos, and showed me them when he came down. I was missing a chimney cap, which I paid for by credit card and they installed on same visit, again showing my digital photos of their finished work. I would use them again."

"Dan completed a massive reworking of our back yard. He had to remove a huge amount of soil and old railway ties and a very ugly old broken stone type patio. He then leveled the space, and laid down two separate blue stone patio areas as well as a wooden deck area. He put down new sod and laid out a beautiful pathway design through the grass connecting the blue stone areas. Dan was easy to communicate with and listened well, he also tactfully reigned us in when our ideas became too eccentric."
