"We had three estimates and Roger was our clear choice because he noticed so many important things that needed fixing that the other two missed. His higher level of expertise was obvious. This work included many projects, involving a tremendous amount of labor. It took several weeks to totally complete. Roger offered suggestions for our front steps, which could have been left as concrete but we decided to splurge and use our favorite rock as an overlay. We special ordered Morton Gneiss (rock) from Coldspring for the step overlays and the buttress caps, in addition to the special order of two colors of brick for the buttresses. We personally researched and chose the rock and the brick. Roger has the experience and expertise to know what should be done and how best to do it. We enjoyed meeting and working with Roger and his crew. He has the most amazing crew of extremely experienced and expert workers. We can't say enough good things about Curtis, Chris, and Chaz. Their work was remarkably meticulous and skilled and showed the pride they take in it. In addition, they are very personable and courteous. They tidied up before leaving each day. If they came upon unforeseen problems, they discussed them with us and then fixed them, some at no extra charge. They even prepared a base and moved the two former heavy concrete buttress caps to our boulevard to use as a walkway at no charge. As a potential customer, if Roger doesn't get back to you right away, don't give up because he does return calls and he is most definitely worth the wait. He is extremely busy and we feel very fortunate that he was the contractor for our project."

"The project went smoothly and efficiently. Greg was great with returning phone calls and being adaptable to the work schedule of me and my spouse. It was a daunting project requiring excavation of an old concrete patio, repairing some foundation on the house, laying a newer bigger paved patio with concrete slab on the side, and also a paved stairway with stone steps going up a hill. Everything turned out even better than expected. He is also true to his word about repairs and the warranty of the patio. A few months after the project ended, we had to have a small portion of the patio pulled up for some electric line work. He had his crew come out to level, lay, and tamp the patio stones back into place free of charge. Would highly recommend."

"Robert was fantastic to work with and did a great job...  He's on time, flexible (I had to reschedule), takes pride in his work, explains everything he's planning to do and why, inspected the rest of the brick house and made suggestions that will save me $ in the future, prices seemed good to me (better than another quote I had), cleaned up after he was done.  Will definitely call on him in the future and have no reservations in recommending him.

"I appreciated the professional approach to my brick replacement project, the timely scheduling and excellent work done. They were on time, done quickly and left the area very clean and neat. The actual brick construction was perfect and exactly as promised for a reasonable price."

"Artistic Landscapes Inc. was one of many companies we talked to and received quotes from about installing a boulder retaining wall in our backyard to replace aging railroad ties and decking. The backyard is sloped with very limited access to move materials and equipment, therefore many of the companies we spoke with responded with either limited options for landscape ideas or unaffordable prices. Chris came out, listened to our ideas, gave us some of his and told us exactly what we could expect; he quickly put a bid together and we were elated it fell within our budget.

He and his crew not only worked around the limited access issues, but challenging weather including rain and wet conditions/clay soils. In addition to an approximate 60 foot long boulder retaining wall, they installed 33 paver stones for a pathway, steps as a feature area, additional large boulders for aesthetic enhancements and graded the area to address critical storm water runoff needs. The placement of each stone/boulder was clearly thought through, resulting in a unique and attractive wall versus many of the standard "one on top of the other" looks.

Toward the end there were a few minor tweaks we requested to which Chris and his crew were more than happy to accommodate until they knew we were completely satisfied. Clean up was fabulous too; our front yard damaged by major equipment during the process (which we knew was necessary) was fully restored as promised!

Chris was good to communicate with and very trustworthy in terms of what he committed to delivering. I would recommend Artistic Landscapes to anyone seeking quality work at a fair price, and by someone who knows what works and what doesn't. We absolutely love our new backyard...thanks Chris and Artistic Landscapes!

"We originally had Twin City Landscapers install a brick retaining wall and small brick patio in our backyard. Two years later we used the same company to install another small patio in our front yard. Both times we found that Twin City Landscaper’s were easy to work with, fair, knowledgeable, and completed the work as promised. We would definitely hire them again should we need additional landscaping services."

"It's excellent, you should come see it, it's beautiful! The owner itself would come and inspect the place. It's a family owned business. They're very professional. They landscaped the backyard. They totally excavated the whole deck and put in a new deck. They out in new footings. The deck was enlarged. Underneath the deck, we did a water proofing so we can relax. The patio, there's a new patio underneath which was expanded. There are drain tiles; my back yard is crisscrossed with drain tiles. They built a retaining wall with stones and planted, of course, shrubs and bushes chopped down all of the old trees. They planted new trees."

"I had a broken corner brick in my siding. I could not find any brick repairman to come to repair it, until I contacted the Trilite Stone, Inc.. Len, at Trilite Stone, was super understanding and helpful to have my little brick repair project accomplished. He even personally performed a custom-made corner piece of the brick for the project. His charge for the service was very reasonable. Such a great customer service!!! I would recommend the Trilite Stone, Inc. to anyone with a small or big brick and stone repair project. Thank you very much, Len."

"Randy, did a great job. The various cracks in the brick mortar of our outside two-story garage wall had worried us for some time. He was professional and thorough and cleaned up after as if he wasn't even there. The brick looks great again. We highly recommend Unique Masonry."
