"Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. We would definitely use Mottern again."

"Excellent, excellent, excellent! Rigo was outstanding. First, he came and looked at the job and later took some brick samples to match them with bricks that he would buy for the job. He found bricks that matched almost perfectly after going to several places (above and beyond the call!). Then, he noticed that some of my railing was rotting away, so I asked him if he knew someone to come and fix that before he fixed the bricks. He did and that contractor also did an excellent job! Rigo then came and fixed the bricks and did an excellent job. Thank goodness that he noticed the rotting railing; otherwise, I would have had to redo the bricks because the railing was bad. The whole job worked out well and he was the lowest bidder! I highly, highly recommend him for your job!"

"Saul and his team did a great job removing the trees from our property and doing the seeding and other treatments afterwards.  Saul was great to plan the project with, they have quick time to complete projects (seems rare for a tree service after all the storms this year seem to have tied up other tree services in the area), and their prices were good. They were prompt and very cooperative with their schedule considering we had to change our planned project date a few days the Saturday before they were supposed to be out at 8 AM on Monday.  They arrived right at their scheduled time and were done quickly and did a wonderful job getting things taken care of cleanly and respectful of the homeowner's property.  
We were expecting them to do the grading and seeding on our back hill, but we weren't expecting them to use sod in the front yard where the dead Zelkova was removed.  They installed some very nice sod in that spot since we didn't want to replace the dead tree right away.  You almost couldn't tell there was ever a tree there a few days before when they were done! I've had sod work done before at previous homes and this was some beautiful sod and installation done by Benitez Landscaping:-)
We were also very impressed at how great Saul's team made the stone steps on our back hill look.  It looks great!  Much better than we ever could have imagined they would look without having to add more stones.  They did such a great job you can't notice the stones were ever in such a funky original position.
The stump grinding rep  was very informative when he was here and explained what killed the dead Zelkova tree and cautioned helus about some other trees on the property that could reach a similar fate if caution wasn't taken.    It was helpful getting such advice.
Overall we were very pleased with Saul Benitez and all the members of Benitez Landscaping that participated in the projects in our yard recently.  Saul and Benitez Lanscaping made the whole process easy and painless and exhibited outstanding customer service.  We believe we got a good value for the money and we will certainly contact them again in the future for other landscaping projects and highly recommend them to others looking for landscape services."

"Wow!!! This was not an easy project to describe and bid, largely because what we were trying to accomplish is quite unique. The property had a tricky change of elevation and undulation, and as far as materials, we wanted to blend the stone into an already existing stone garden design already on the property and adjacent to the to be installed fence. We wanted carderock stone that was identical in size and color pattern to what we had already - this is not as easy as simply going to the same quarry, which First Impressions gladly did. It is really a job that requires great skill and attention to detail to match the new wall perfectly, which they did. From start to finish, there were no issues. I was most impressed with four things - 1) the finished product, which completely blew us away, 2) the professionalism and integrity of the entire crew - from Mike the very thoughtful designer and primary point of contact who figured out how to make our vision work on the property (he brought a few very good suggested changes as well), to John the onsite project manager, to the stone layers, the wood workers and the lighting installers - they each wanted to make the customer happy, and obviously took great pride in their work, 3) the price, which was around 10 percent less than two other real bids, and 4) the reasonable time to completion, clean/tidy work site, and respectfulness toward our neighbors throughout the few week project. For us, this was our first sizable home project - Mike and John made use very comfortable throughout that our personal investment in our property was being taken very seriously by each of them - we felt that they wanted it to look even better than we did, which is a great feeling. When you get a better product than you could have imagined, that is hassle free and reasonably priced, it is tough not to be happy with the experience. I have nothing but positive impressions of First Impressions, and would very happily work with them again.

"I just finished Brick & Tuck repairs by Aalcon Company (Jim Alls). They were excellent, and they diagnosed the structural problems as well or better than the engineer. I was very pleased with their service and the quality work. They went ahead and did other minor repairs on the brickwork at no cost. They helped with exploratory holes to determine the structural issues, and brainstormed various solutions.Will hire them again next year for major paverstone work."
