Our carport steps were pulling away from the house with uneven risers, the carport slab was cracked and sagging, and our asphalt driveway was crumbling and sloping the wrong way—right toward the house. Rigo and his team completely transformed everything! They built beautiful new concrete steps with perfectly uniform risers, seamlessly integrated into a brand-new carport slab. The new asphalt driveway now slopes properly away from the house and carport—and we've already seen it work beautifully during heavy rain, with water flowing exactly where it should. They even added a lovely new front walkway connecting our entry landing to the driveway. The work was fast, professional, and a great value. "Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. We would definitely use Mottern again."

"The cement on our slate patio was cracking and in need of attention. Mr. Sanchez and his crew did a great job of grinding out the old cement, stabilizing the stones where necessary and putting in new cement. The crew was efficient and polite. The job was finished on time and for a fair price, IMO. Before and after photos (of one small area) attached. [One note: The grinding out of the old cement created a signigicant amount of dust. much of which went into the adjacent garden. My wife was/is concerned this will affect the chemistry of the soil, thereby affecting the health of her plants. Just be aware.] Highly recommend."

"The repointing work was generally done well. Old mortar and bricks were removed and new bricks were installed. The craftsmanship was excellent. However, the color of the mortar used differed from that in the rest of the brickwork, so at present it stands out. Sixpenny said to wait a period and then re-evaluate whether any change should be made. I would rate this as an "A" but for the color difference in the mortar that was not expected. The chimney cap work was done well."

"Perfect, 2 courteous gentlemen were here for 2 days and redid our front patio that my parents build 16 years ago. Some of the rows of bricks were sinking. They took all the bricks up and repaired the border and laid the bricks back down and the patio looks brand new. It truly looks professional now and the guys were a pleasant to work with."
