That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "Provided David from Albion Cabinets our request and dimensions for our new island we needed installed in our kitchen.  Price was reasonable and better than other companies we contacted (i.e. Lowes).  Requested a small change after seeing the work in progress.  Did not increase the price or delay the island.  Wonderful to work with and quickly responded to our questions.  Made sure to install prior to Thanksgiving so we could use it for the holidays.  Overall I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for custom made island or cabinets.  Quality of work is great, island is solid!
