"The walkway is grand better than I had imagined. Passerbys are taking photos and complimenting the work. The walkway help enhance the look of the home and the pavers on the stairs make the look grand."

"Devin is the most competent trade owner we have used in the 12 years of living in Florida. Deco Crete has provided us with an unbelievable new surface for our lanai. We look forward to using Decocrete in the future for other projects of concrete surfaces, such as driveway. Love the surface and sparkle under foot of this heavily trafficked area.Decocrete installers were very efficient with a good work attitude and good customer interface. Strongly recommend Decocrete for any concrete surface project!"

"Randy Peters was very professional and did an outstanding job applying epoxy / flaked floor. Work entailed considerable grinding on the old concrete floor to prepare it for the new epoxy application. Randy applied several coats of epoxy as well as adding the flakes. He worked two days on the floor and then returned the following week to follow up and make sure the floor had properly dried. Randy and his partner were a joy to have working on this project. I highly recommend Floor Groomers. Many neighbors are now wanting to apply epoxy in their garages. Everyone has been amazed at the results of the new floor. You'll will be very pleased with the workmanship of the Floor Groomers."

"Thomas and Like arrived on time and met with me to verify the scope of work. I showed them one additional item that I would like to be completed and they were able to do that. They met with me a couple of times during the project to show me what had been done and what limitations they were looking at based on the condition of the concrete. They completed the work and showed me what they had accomplished. I was extremely satisfied with their work. Great team and good representatives of LRE Ground Services/Foundation Repair."

"I had three quotes, all from reputable companies. Not only was Helicon the most economical option, they were very easy to deal with and the team worked very hard. They leveled several concrete portions of my driveway, and lifted/leveled two concrete blocks that had sunken almost a foot over the past 8 years. The team was diligent whereas others said I'd need a total ripout and repour, Helicon was able to lift the existing concrete and level it to satisfaction."

"It went well beyond my expectations. We went with pavers rather than concrete. Joe gave us a good estimate. He stuck to the budget and the timeline. The work Joe did for us is a work of art. Beautiful. Pavers cost more than concrete but worth every penny."

"I recently hired Pave USA for a concrete driveway installation at my property in West Palm Beach, and I am beyond impressed with the results. From start to finish, the team provided outstanding service, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. First off, the customer service was top-notch. The team was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions during the initial consultation. They helped me choose the best concrete option for my driveway, explaining the benefits and different finishes available. When it came to the actual work, Pave USA exceeded all my expectations. The crew arrived on time, were incredibly efficient, and paid attention to every detail. They prepped the site thoroughly, ensuring a solid foundation and the finished product is smooth, level, and looks fantastic. The craftsmanship is exceptional, and it’s clear they used high-quality materials that will last for years to come. I also appreciated the team’s punctuality and cleanliness— they made sure to keep the work area tidy, and they were respectful of my property throughout the entire project. The job was completed on schedule, with minimal disruption, and at a very fair price considering the high level of service provided. If you’re in the West Palm Beach area and need concrete services, I highly recommend Pave USA. Their professionalism, skill, and dedication to customer satisfaction are unmatched. I’ll definitely be using them for any future concrete work!"

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
