Tony Medina, the owner of the company, and the members of his crew did an excellent job. The procedure required two separate trips that were dependent on the weather. As he promised, he called the night before to make sure it suited for them to arrive at 7 a.m. He was always on time and completed the work professionally and efficiently at the exact price he quoted, which was very fair and reasonable for the job required. He and his crew did beautiful work and I would hire him again in a heartbeat."

"Poured a slab for my garage install. Was cool when it was poured and didn't use enough calcium to help it cure . Had to stay until 4 am to do what they could. Came back next day to finish. Gave extra money to come back and remove debris. Never showed up so I rented a skid steer and cleaned up myself. Pad has low and hi spots in it. When if rains it creates a large pool on the carport and runs into my garage. They were very nice people but think they could have done a better job. Especially after I gave them a few hundred dollars extra."

"Nicolas just completed my small my sidewalk project today. The result is amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process. What I really like is everyone showed up at work is Nicolas himself and his family. So it’s not like you talk to some front man then end up with random unskilled workers to do the actual job. Nicolas’s team really take pride in their work. That’s what makes me think I can trust him. His price is on the mid to high range but for the peace of mind I think its well worth it. I’m already thinking hiring him to fix the poor job done by my previous contractor. Initial estimation & communication: More than a month ago I reached out to 20+ contractors but only 4 contractors showed up. Only 2 of them gave me estimates. When I decided to go with one of them the contractor just never responded to me. Then suddenly someone in my neighborhood is recommending Nicolas for a recent work he completed, so I decided to give it a shot. Nicolas responded immediately to my text and showed up to estimate on the July 4th weekend. We told him we would like it done sooner than later and he just scheduled us for the following week. The night before scheduled day it stormed and he quickly communicated with me to postpone it for better result. During day of work: Nicolas arrived at 6:45am as he promised. Coincidentally we had 3 other contractors (none scheduled by us) all showed up at the same time. Nicolas’s team had to work with a contractor who is trying to replace half of my concrete driveway, coordinate with the contractor who is trying to pour water in the gutter he is modifying, even helped me fixing some edging stone being messed up by the cable contractor. They are well equipped with professional machines to do hardscaping work which is miles more efficient than the previous company we hired. Quality of work: Nicolas’ team really stand behind their work unlike most contractors just want to be done with the job quickly. The job took 2 days instead of estimated 1 day because Nicolas’s team found very tiny cracks on some of the pavers, which I wouldn’t notice myself. So they decided to wait another day to get more good quality material to finish the job. The end result is flawless. The design Nicolas recommanded (although not the easiest for him) looks wonderful. They even carefully preserved part of my old turf to lay on the bare spots so I don’t have to get new sod. There is no mess left behind. They were very careful about not damaging my lawn. They put down wood boards when driving on grass or cutting stone. Unlike the previous contractor we hired who left many burn spots on my grass."

Tarheel’s analyst was extremely thorough, spending maybe 1-2 hours of evaluation time. He generated a quote at the time of visit. Their quote was competitive in price and similar in scope to other bids. I do not perceive any sales pressure while recognizing that they do stay in business by performing work. The crew arrived on the anticipated date and worked over two days to break up the perimeter concrete, install the wall and drain system, and replace perimeter concrete. They also restructured our sump pit and drainage. The crew was good to work with and they had a clear crew chief that communicated well. Really everything went as we hoped. I had some follow up questions in the following weeks, and the office connected me with the same crew chief. He answered my questions. Since this work we had them come back and install a battery backup sump system."
