"Called company on Monday and got an appointment for an inspection on Wednesday. That following Monday, the technician arrived and went through each step is sealing off the concrete foundation to the water leak. The fix worked well and was put to the test with the recent record rains. Not one drop of water came into the basement."

"Big shout out to Dil and Cruise for doing a splendid job . They were very courteous, patient enough to listen to my concerns and very friendly. The Job was to lift the concrete and seal the joint and cracks . Time will tell how well the seal will hold especially with colorodo weather but so far happy the result. Thank you Trasher."

"They were able to correct the concrete settlement eliminating trip points and areas where water was standing. This was an excellent alternative to replacing the concrete segments where the problem existed."

"I met and dealt with Richard while I was having my bardominium built in 2023. The concrete he pored for the 64x40 was perfect. He helped me out in many other ways on his own time on the weekends. I am happy that he has acquired the honest family business his dad worked so hard to make successful, and that Richard has been a part of since a very young age."

"Romero did a good job. We did want a lower patio (had to be 6 inches above ground versus 2 inches originally quoted) and weren't sure if concrete should be poured over our landscaping rock, but he added rebars and warrantied that if the concrete cracked ( which he assured us for a non weight baring patio it shouldn't) due to the rock used under the concrete he would come back. The texturization looks good and he rounded the corners of the patio and stair to give a more elegant flow. Overall we are happy with the work but we were disappointed when the original specifications for the higher price (other estimators were 500-600 dollars less) were not altered due to drainage. We thought they would haul away rock and put in gravel and were confused later when this appeared to change. Overall we were happy it was timely but sad project specifications changed during the work process. Texturization has scraped a bit with patio furniture, so would also recommend putting on plastic protectors."

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
