A properly installed concrete slab can last anywhere from 30 to 100 years. A concrete floor differs from a concrete slab in both its finish and function. A concrete floor is an indoor surface that is polished, coated, or stained for enhanced aesthetics and durability, while a concrete slab is an unfinished base designed to support structures such as sheds, garages, or patios.
