Customers say: Quick response

"Very nice and professional owner; hard-working and pleasant helpers. Took two days to tear out and replace the parking pad in front of our garage. They were on time, did what they said they would do, and turned out an excellent product. Very careful about things like slope, matching our existing steps, etc. I would definitely hire them again if I had concrete work."

"Overall if functions well and looks alright, although some of the caulking is a little wavey on the top and they were never on time when they said they'd be. They fixed all of the issues when I asked them about it though so they stand behind their products."

"So happy that I just hired this out. Khan excavation was able to start the job and have it completed within a week from hiring him, that is even with a concrete shortage. The finished job looks great!"

Small jobs welcome

"This was a sprinkler install that was on a hillside. Ethan did a wonderful job. Once he was done, you couldn?t tell the difference in the lawn. The job was that smooth. Nice to have sprinklers instead of moving 500 feet of garden hoses all the time."

"We cannot say enough good things about Eli and his crew! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The work was completed quickly, on schedule, and turned out absolutely beautiful. We are beyond thrilled with the stamped concrete he completed for us—it completely transformed the space and exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship truly show in the finished product. If you’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work, we highly recommend Eli and his boys. We can’t thank them enough, and we will definitely be calling them again when future projects arise!"

"After getting several estimates, I asked Brett to come over to provide an in-person estimate. He sent a very reasonable estimate that included demolition and haul-away of some cement work in my backyard. He also asked if I wanted to add 2 yards (give or take) of large granite rocks along my fence line that I've been wanting to dispose of and be hauled away, for a small additional cost. He showed up on time and made quick work of the cement walkway and the fire pit area, as well as the granite rocks. Brett is a friendly, professional, and he has the skills, knowledge, and the right equipment to get the job done in a timely fashion. He cleaned up whatever mess there was, and it looks great for the next phase of my backyard renovation. I would highly recommend him and his company for any demolition needs. Here are the before and after photo's."

"We've tried about 10 different landscaping companies and Forest Landscaping is by the far the best we've ever dealt with. They were the fastest, nicest, and most fair-priced out of any. If you want to work with people who definitely are the masters of their craft and serious about their reputation, then you need to book these guys. They worked around our ridiculous schedule and got 3 days worth of work done in 1 day for us. I don't consider myself a lazy person, but I definitely felt like one seeing how much passion and energy they put into their business. They were the talk of the cul-de-sac that day and my neighbors will still stop me and comment on how great of a job they did and how impressive they were."

FAQs for concrete work projects in Letha, ID

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.

Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.

Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.

An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
