"Very well. HomeXTR did a great job on my drive and walk replacement. David, the owner, is very knowledgeable in this type of concrete work. He use Ready Mix Concrete exclusively. I have worked for Ne Dept of Transportation for 35 years and have seen a lot of concrete placed on many types of projects, Interstate, highways, city streets, bridges, etc. His crew knows what they’re doing. Theyyefficient and fast, not sloppy. First day they removed the old drive and walks. Second day they graded the area and set forms. Third day they poured the drive and walks. Two truckloads in less than an hour. Another thing David did was keep an eye on the weather report for the day of the pour. He was not going to pour if the weather was threatening rain. His crew also sawcut the joints in the drive. It gives the drive a professional finish look, rather than jointing it with hand tools. Fourth day his crew returned and stripped the forms and backfilled the drive and walks. I would highly recommend David and his HomeXRT company for any residential concrete work needed."

"The project was top notch. I appreciated the phone calls to let me know the crew was on their way. The crew worked hard to complete the project ahead of schedule. The lead walked us through the progression prior to lunch break and at the end of their shift to assure we were satisfied with the work. They only recommend what is absolutely necessary for repair and protection. Groundworks is highly reasonable. My husband and I highly recommend them."

"Limitless Landscape handled an extensive job at my home, correcting drainage problems that threatened the house foundation, redesigning the layout to save trees and planting more appropriate shrubs and bushes for the soil and lighting conditions. They are extremely knowledgeable. The project called for use of heavy equipment —I believe Limitless Landscaping can handle any size job: They are professional and conscientious. All of this happened at a difficult time for me, and I discovered that the owners, Alan and Liz, were some of the kindest and most generous people I have ever encountered. So, too, were the crew who installed everything from lighting, to plants to drainage lines to sprinkler systems—these guys do it all! And they do it well."

"It was the middle of February when we had the itch to do a project. It was a big project, requiring skilled hands. Like we were taught, we received 3 bids for the project and accepted the bid from the guy who said he would do the most work for the least amount of money. All three bids were relatively close in nature and all three men were kind, but at the end of the day we did not choose Level Up Construction. We would later regret that decision. After three months and a poor product from the other contractor, we hung our head and contacted Level Up construction. We got a new bid right away with the assurance that no job was too big. We apologized for not going with the company that had raving reviews, and we were deeply thankful that Level Up construction agreed to take the job and do the best they could considering the poor workmanship of the previous contractor. Also, they completed the work for a very reasonable and humble price considering that they could have really jacked the price, as they knew of our desperation at this point. Professional, quick, on time, responsive to texts, and they left the property way better than they found it. Overall, Level Up Construction took a bad situation and helped to make it manageable. We still have the sting from not going with them originally. We will not make that mistake again. We have multiple projects in the future, and we will be using Level Up Construction for all of them. Thank you to the great work of the team."

"Big shout out to Dil and Cruise for doing a splendid job . They were very courteous, patient enough to listen to my concerns and very friendly. The Job was to lift the concrete and seal the joint and cracks . Time will tell how well the seal will hold especially with colorodo weather but so far happy the result. Thank you Trasher."

"So professional and fast! They were great tonwork with. Will definitely use them for future projects."
Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
