"I had a challenging project to design and install a concrete curb system to help with our water drainage. Concrete Solutions did a great job with both the design and execution. And they did it at a great price as well. We are very pleased by the solution and the overall value."

"Georgis Best Concrete, LLC completely replaced my driveway, sidewalk and front steps yesterday. Their work is absolute perfection! Chris Tamayo (owner) explained clearly what would be done and quoted a great price for complete removal and replacement of an old driveway, sidewalk and front steps. The team he sent was amazing - they are professional and definitely expert at concrete installation. Every team member worked carefully and diligently to compete the job. Chris was here working with them to inspect and approve the installation. I could not be happier with my new driveway, sidewalk and steps!! If you need any concrete work done I highly recommend Georgia Best Concrete, LLC!!"

"Bill and his crew arrived on time to start the demolition and frame work on day one, day two was concrete pouring and continued framing. Very impressed with the crews job knowledge and the patience to fully answer any and all concerns we had. The price was very reasonable and competitive as well and I would defiantly recommend Sudlow Concrete for any type of concrete driveway work."

"We needed a concrete walkway and steps installed in the front of our home, and a 40 X 12 ft concrete patio poured in the backyard. We had ideas of what we wanted to do, and working with Graydon Lewis, the project came out fantastic. Graydon offered several new ideas we hadnâ t thought of, but never pressured us at all. The back patio was being installed on very unlevel ground, but Graydon and the team had a great idea to stair step the large patio into a couple sections. It came out so great and we canâ t wait to get our patio furniture all set up to enjoy it. Graydon delivered everything for us exactly when he promised, at a very fair price, and the final product far exceeded our expectations. He is so easy to work with and very courteous and respectful. I would highly recommend Graydon and his team at Leading Edge to anyone needing concrete work."

FAQs for concrete work projects in Roswell, GA

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.

Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.

Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.

An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
