"Joe and JB General Contractors have done it again!!! They have exceeded all expectations with the quality of the work and the concierge services. We previously used JB for a sidewalk replacement project in Sept 2023 so it was a no brainer to return to them when severe April storms revealed leaks in my parent's home roof and sliding was blown off in the storm. Joe was onsite on a Saturday to assess the work needed, produce an estimate with various scenarios for siding replacement and provide expertise on choosing the appropriate replacement products. His detailed estimate and photos were of great help in obtaining an appropriate insurance reimbursement for the storm damage. The project was underway before I returned to my home in California and Joe provided regular reports and pictures to document the project progress. From the start to scheduling with Joe to meeting with Anthony I knew that this was going to be the company I hire to do the job. The job went flawlessly and even if there were any concerns Anthony and Joe were always either at the job site or just a call/text away. One week later I had a brand new front and back yard. "If you are reading this review, you are inquiring into masonry work, landscaping, etc.  You just FOUND your guy.  You do not need to look any further.  As I recently moved from Stony Brook  to Centerport, I had seen some of his work in the Stony Brook area and knew of his professional reputation in the area.  Not knowing who to turn to or who to trust, I called Carl Bongiorno. 
I placed the call to Carl and he got back to me right away. We set up an appt for Carl to assess the property.  He arrived on time just as he said he would.  He got back to me with a written estimate, payment schedule, and we set a start date as I wished to move forward.  On the first day work began, Carl's crew arrived promptly and they did so every day until the job was complete.  Carl's crew is AMAZING!  During the brutal heatwave of the summer, they endured working on my front porch with such grace (I made sure to provide them with a cooler of plenty of water, gatorade and money for the ice cream man too!).  They were polite and courteous.  Their SKILL and  WORKMANSHIP are TOP KNOTCH!  Everyone in the neighborhood who pass by give such high praise to their work. As I was working while the job was being performed, Carl remained in touch with me via telephone, text and/or email, informing me of the work as it was progressing.  As the work on the porch was progressing, I strayed from my original design plan.  Carl worked with me every step of the way with such professionalism to give me the porch and design aesthetic I was looking for.
**  As my home needs landscaping work also, I had Carl draw up several plan ideas for my home which included 1) keeping the driveway where it is, 2) moving it from one side to the other and 3) a circular driveway.  Carl met me at my home on all 3 occassions to go over each new plan.
