We previously used JB for a sidewalk replacement project in Sept 2023 so it was a no brainer to return to them when severe April storms revealed leaks in my parent's home roof and sliding was blown off in the storm. Joe was onsite on a Saturday to assess the work needed, produce an estimate with various scenarios for siding replacement and provide expertise on choosing the appropriate replacement products. His detailed estimate and photos were of great help in obtaining an appropriate insurance reimbursement for the storm damage. The project was underway before I returned to my home in California and Joe provided regular reports and pictures to document the project progress. "I hired A&J Masonary Hardscapes to totally demo and redo my driveway, walkway, front steps, backyard patio and backyard steps. From the start to scheduling with Joe to meeting with Anthony I knew that this was going to be the company I hire to do the job. The price was fair, we made the deal and 2 1/2 weeks later they arrived to start. The job went flawlessly and even if there were any concerns Anthony and Joe were always either at the job site or just a call/text away. One week later I had a brand new front and back yard. At the end of the job the guys leveled out the front and back yard and even put down seed which I was not expecting. "I called Carl Bongiorno, a family owned company, and received a call back the same day. We set up an appointment where he could come and see my yard. Carl was punctual, very pleasant, and responsive to my needs. I had two small projects; one being a straightforward project of an approximate 6' x 6' paver pad. The other job required a little more creativeness. I had a rough idea what I wanted and Carl was able to envision and understand what I looking for and was able to design a very lovely focal point for my yard.Whenever I have any work done I always get at least three estimates. Carl Bongiorno was not the lowest, but was not the highest either. He came right in the middle. I chose Carl Bongiorno because of his past reviews, responsiveness to my needs, and quality workmanship . I was very pleased with my choice. To my surprise they were able to do the work on a few of our warmer winter days. They were always punctual, friendly, and professional. What a difference the paver pad is from what was there previously! And my new bluestone patio is a beautiful focal point to my garden. I only had one issue which Carl rectified immediately. Unfortunately, the weight of the truck caused a large crack in my 3-year old black topped driveway. I got an estimate for the repair and Carl deducted it from my bill. He also stated that if I had problems with the repair to call him. Unfortunate events are impossible to predict, but I was pleased with the way Carl handled it. I am so glad I chose Carl. He does high quality work, is professional and very pleasant to deal with. But,above all Carl Bongiorno has integrity, He is honest and reliable. I definitely would recommend him."

The owner Thiago, who oversees the project, was a pleasure to work with -- never used any pressure tactics, was very responsive to any questions, and gave a fair price. The two craftsmen who did the work were amazing! They arrived promptly every day, worked extremely hard, and did absolutely beautiful work. First of all, a live person actually answered their business phone and, on the spot, set up an appointment for a consultation and estimate. The woman we spoke with was polite, warm and competent. John Starkie came out to our house several days later, listened to our wish list, surveyed the area and wrote up a detailed estimate. Mr. Starkie is a personable fellow but more importantly, he is a straight shooter. We liked him from the beginning and our instincts were proven to be correct. He wrote up our estimate on a Friday, by the following Tuesday our project was complete. He organized and coordinated everything: the scheduling of the cement mixer and the power washer to interface with his own technicians and move the project along most efficiently.
