"My husband and I are so pleased that we chose Rose Stone Concrete and Restoration for repair of our concrete driveway. It was getting ready to cave in at some point in time. I had begun to hold my breath when driving over it. Mr. Sadler came through, fixed our drive. He did everything he said he would do with such expertise and professionalism. I have already recommended him to a friend who I recently found out needed their drive fixed. We will definitely call on him for my next concrete job. Joe and Jane Kasiah”"

"The work crew that arrived came 3 hours later than anticipated. When it was explained that the order had been inadvertently cancelled and they had to reconstruct the order before coming was understandable. The 3 man crew went directly to work and stayed on task with only a short break for each of them during the project. There was a misunderstanding of how the fence was to be installed and as soon as this was pointed out a corrective action was taken and the project continued. The POA requires the smooth side of the fence to face the public space. the crew started to face it into the yard. I was very impressed with all 3 members of the work crew and they were professional in their performance of their duties. The language they used with me as well as with each other was very much appreciated as no foul language was heard throughout the day. It took the crew about 6 hours to complete the fence hence I will recommend your service anytime I have an opportunity. I had requested to us a Credit Card to pay for the work and was informed it cost 3% to use the service. When I paid the bill the additional fee was not included therefore I will send a check for approximately $35.00 to cover this additional charge. Thanks for the very good job. Bill Lamb"

"It's been a great experience, and I've really enjoyed working with Lance and his wife Marla. He is always responsive and has been very diligent about returning to adjust some sprinkler heads. Furthermore, he is very honest, doesn't try to upsell, and does quality work for fair price."

"Excellent work, very professional. Came in, went to work and finished product looks awesome."
Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
