Rather than remove and replaced, I was pleasantly surprised that the existing broken slab could be elevated back up to the original position, then a simple resurfacing could then be done. My issue was rain water that I have now mitigated. The cool thing was that a brick retaining wall sitting on top of the broken slab also elevate to its original position, Simple mortar work will make it all perfect. These guys are legit. Hats off to Levi Woods who came out to see the need, then provide some education of the AFS process and ultimately an estimate, as well as Matthew Martin and Parris Houchins who did the repair. The owner, Lamar, immediately responded and the deciding factor for this company was the entirely detailed quote with pictures showing how things would be done. We were expecting the job site supervisor, Allen, to come by to determine what materials were needed. Allen and his co-worker, Mike, came by and instead of getting a list of materials, they started work! That was a first for me! Job site was kept completely clean and Allen continually kept me updated. We are pleased with the work he did and the level of service he provided! The weather did not allow him to finish the job to his satisfaction. So, he returned a few weeks later when the weather was forecast to be dry for the day to seal the cracks and cover them with sand. Not only was the end result aesthetically-pleasing, it is sealed now to protect from any water getting underneath the concrete slabs in the future.
