"Legacy concrete and their crew did a great job. The only problem was a mistake on the bid that was found just before the job started. Robert worked very hard to work out a solution satisfactory to both parties and the job was finished on time. We are very happy with the results."

"ADE went well ABOVE & BEYOND the outlined work. They helped with drainage and grading around our property when we did not even think to include that in the bid. The team was polite and professional. They worked hard and did not disturb us or the neighbors. Truly a class act and a terrific value. We will never use or recommend anyone else... EVER!"

"Excellent concrete work, but they left black marks on the concrete next to where they worked and large black tire marks on my driveway. When I made Tony aware of the problem, he told me I could hose the marks off which didn t work. While their workmanship on the concrete work was impeccable, they left me with a problem to try and solve myself with little luck so far!"

"I had artificial turf installed in my backyard with Rock surrounding it. That guys showed up and went right to work. They were friendly and respectful. The job they did was superb and the price was reasonable. I am very happy with my clean and pristine yard!"

"The project was a 25’ sidewalk alongside my house and resetting a gate post and the four posts of a grape arbor. We got four estimates and chose RP Concrete. Rafael helped design the walkway, which needed to go from 4’ wide to 3’ wide, and asked me to approve the layout before he poured the concrete. He and his crew also removed the 18’ long, 8’ high grape arbor and reset the four posts without disturbing or damaging the attached grape vines. I didn’t think that could be done. We’re very happy with his work. The sidewalk looks great. The arbor is fixed and stronger than before. The gate post is no longer leaning. RP Concrete worked quickly and at a fair price. Rafael is genuinely a nice guy, too. I would definitely recommend RP Concrete."

Customers say: Quality work
"I am absolutely delighted with the quality of work, professionalism, integrity, communication and value. This was a major project on a mid-century modern home, needing demo of old driveway and carport, re-grading, concrete pouring and finishing. Eli was a pleasure to work with and his team was great. They also kept the site pretty clean, given all that was happening, and my neighbors really appreciated that. I had a structural engineer involved in the project and Eli worked so well with the engineer. Big corporate folks can become difficult when an expert is hired to oversee and consult on the project, but Eli was great. He viewed the engineer as even more to ensure the work would be done without issue, and that was certainly the case. My driveway and carport are gorgeous! What a find Eli and his company are. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Eli, thank you!"
Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
