"Joe and his team were very professional putting down a beautiful new epoxy based garage floor. They came when expected, did an outstanding job and cleaned up after. We would highly recommend using Joe and Concrete Dynamics."

"Prior to these guys saving our property, we foolishly hired an under-qualified contractor to install a large patio and retaining wall system. It turned out to be a never ending nightmare from the start that left us with pooling water everywhere, mud leaking thru walls and stairs that were falling apart. We hired Classical Pavers to hopefully resolve all our issues, and boy did they deliver. These guys are true landscape engineers! They uprooted the previously installed pavers, flawlessly re-pitched and graded the base, planned for all the possible drainige issues that might come up, and completely cleaned the pavers and property of any remnants of their work. I could not be happier with the professionalism of every level of their services. I would absolutely recommend them, and only use them for any and all future projects."

"They were honest. The project will be to costly as the whole driveway needs replacing and I agree. I was hoping for a fix but that’s not an option"

"This was a big project for my wife and I. We were very concerned about the overall cost and the structural integrity of the house foundation as the basement was being excavated. Jerome and Damon did an outstanding job for us and made sure we were comfortable with the entire process. Damon was especially attentive -- he is thoughtful, intelligent, resourceful and provided excellent service and advice. The few problems that came up were dealt with quickly and I am extremely happy with the result - a clean, dry work space with a nice flat floor.
95% of the job was completed in 5 days. I am still amazed by this given that all the excavated material and the new concrete was handled in 5 gallon buckets exclusively. The other amazing thing was how much the crew actually enjoyed the work; I wish I had as much fun on the job as the Select Basement crew - that tells me that Jerome treats his people the right way.
Anyway, thanks guys for a terrific job.

"ALB did an outstanding job on my concrete entrance and steps repair. Eric and his crew were professional, the work was done perfectly and they were friendly and efficient. They took extra care to ensure the work was done right. My concrete entryway and steps are beautiful. I highly recommend them for any concrete installation you may have. I would definitely hire them again."

"Val from Established Construction LLC, very polite and professional. Val and his worker Angel worked the entire day in my backyard. The concrete and stucco were crumbling and the steps to the basement door as well. Val did an amazing job repairing and replacing the concrete. They clean every thing up. Val also went beyond & above as a courtesy pour concrete on a broken step in front of the house. I will highly recommend and will use his services in the futures."

"C3 was not the lowest cost, but they were the best. Josh and his team were punctual, worked all day, needed no supervision and did high-quality work. Josh provided some options for a better appearance and was fair in extra costs coming from excavating the slope. We are very happy with the wall and steps and even yard for summer entertaining. I recommend C3 and Josh for any hardscaping work."

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
