The crew dug a deep trench, installed rebar, and poured a solid base. Once cured, the wall was built up and capped for a clean look. Drainage was included with weep holes and gravel backfill, which prevents water buildup behind the wall. The wall spans nearly 40 feet, transforming the yard into usable, level space."

On a minor point, throughout the work and unlike some other contractors, when they scheduled an appointment, they were there on time - on the one occasion when they were going to be  late, they called in advance and told us.  (Anyone who has had to wait for a re[airman or service provider to arrive "somewhere between 8 am and noon", can appreciate that.)
