"Not really a "brick, stone or block wall - install" but it's the closest I could get with the list. Ripped out 30+ year old brick island at the front of our subdivision, installed a new concrete version & filled with topsoil. The job came in at or under the price quoted & we are very happy with it. I was very impressed with Adrian in regard to his work ethic, desire to please a customer, knowledge, scheduling & ability to get the work done."

"I submitted a request for a concrete pad through Angi’s list. Within a few minutes, Raoul Ramo, owner of Ramos Concrete, contacted me with his interest in providing an estimate. We met the following day. His estimate was the best and I asked him to do the job. I gave him a deadline for having the job done. He, along with two of his employees, completed the job two weeks before the deadline. I am very happy with the job and would definitely hire him again for future concrete projects."

Small jobs welcome

"After a really frustrating experience with another contractor who took our deposit and disappeared for two weeks without doing any work, we were honestly stressed and unsure who to trust next. I found LEA Concrete LLC this morning, reached out, and within hours they were already on-site. Not only did they show up the same day—they completed the entire job that afternoon. The difference in professionalism was night and day. They communicated clearly, showed up when they said they would, and delivered clean, high-quality work with zero delays. If you’re looking for a reliable, responsive, and professional concrete company, I highly recommend LEA Concrete LLC. They truly stepped up when we needed it most."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Believe the reviews! It took longer to get HOA approval than it did for Craig White to assess and complete our walkway! He was professional, prompt and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend him for your concrete work. We love our new walkway!!"

"Great job redoing paver sidewalk & lighting after front yard plumbing line project left it a mess. They regraded to ensure water flowed away from house while working on project. It’s been over a year since project was done. Even in heaviest downpours & sustained, soaking rain events the work has functioned as intended. No more puddles or water getting into basement. The sidewalk & enlarged circle by front steps make a beautiful & smooth sitting area & walking surface. The lighting is lovely. Great family business, good communication about timing of project. Bonus- moved original pavers to backyard for me & stacked them for future projects. Re-Seeded lawn where it had been torn up. Great work by great team!"

FAQs for concrete work projects in Morrisville, NC

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.

Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.

Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.

An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
