"The project went very well. Timing and budget were met. More importantly, I had a curvy design (drawn on graph paper) and a new material in mind (recycled rubber pavers, now offered by Azek). Unlike many of the contractors I spoke with, Jeff from MasonWorks was willing to work with my design and this unfamiliar material that involved laying plastic grids over the compacted base and then installing the pavers. The pavers themselves could be cut with a woodworking tools. I wanted a dogwood blossom design on the entry and main patios which required a lot of diagonal cuts. I didn't want to pay for the extra labor to make that happen, so MasonWorks team laid the pavers in a random pattern and gave me a few days before applying the sand to lock in when I was able to cut and rearrange the pavers to make my design. I am so thrilled with the result. I had wanted a deck, but the raised terrace was a great solution that didn't conflict with zoning. The work was done in 2011 and, 8 years later, it is holding up really well, even though I did dig out the base material pretty close to the edge of the pavers to allow for more planting. The first photo is from 2018. The others are from 3-5 years ago."

"It was a small deck to the back door rotted out and needed to be replaced. I kept a good eye on them and complained a lot. It was April fools day. when I paid for the new deck, I said April fools. They did a great job for the money . It came out great and i am very happy with a solid safe back deck. It was raining when they started and cold but it was finished very fast. The rain stopped mid morning and in just a few hours I had a new deck."

"Originally the project was for a remove and rebuild of the front porches for my 2-family house. They were falling apart, windows were old & odd sizes and wood needed to be replaced due to rot, etc. Steve & his crew found that a total removal was not necessary. They replaced the old footings bringing the porches to the proper level, reduced the # of windows needed, replaced them with beautiful sliders, replaced the floors, stained the new interior wood to coordinate with the stained wood ceilings & walls, installed 2 new doors, updated the porch lights and weatherproofed all the outside areas. "I hired DiOrio Builders to build an addition onto my house with a living area, master bed and bath and additional bedroom. The moment I met Derrick I knew he had knowledge of what needed to be done and the character and integrity to make it happen. He asked the right questions and made suggestions which helped a lot. James coordinated all the activity kept on schedule despite some unforeseen set backs and was able to get subs in when needed. This all happened in the height of covid where supplies were delayed but they were able to stay ahead and account for lead times. "I had a couple of issues that the Eagle HS Improvement's crew addressed in a prompt, professional and honorable manner. I had a fieldstone foundation as well as a fieldstone bulkhead cellar access that needed work. The fieldstone bulkhead was replaced and they also took care of a cracked poured concrete back porch - as the fieldstones that were originally supporting that had literally rolled out. When they took care of the bulkhead and replaced it with a poured concrete foundation, they also extended that under the back porch to support it! The cellar door inside the bulkhead was also updated. Further, they added support to the back porch roof by making the existing supports more sturdy! The fieldstone cellar walls were patched, built up and smoothed out both inside and out leaving a much more desired professional result! They also kindly accomplished the rearranging of material around the cellar to allow them access to the walls. I was very pleased with their work!"
