So here’s the thing, … I’ve found over the years that hiring a Handy Man that is reliable, competent, reasonably priced, and has proof of insurance extremely difficult. This is the first time I hired, ‘The Handy Duo’, so I was taking a risk. Here are my thoughts on their work. 1. They said what they were going to do and they did it. 2. They arrived on time. 3. They provided a timeline and came in early. (IE, they said they’d take 3 days and they finished in two. They exceeded the expectation.) 4. Their work product was quality. Summary: When you hire a handy man your establishing a relationship with another person/company. I’ve found that so often with contractors that they are horrible communicators. When I called them, .. they answered. When I texted them they responded very quickly. In person they explained what they would do in plain simple terms. Their work product was great. "Over all it was an ok experience. They got there on time , did a good job with the carpets, and cleaned up after they were done. The carpet cleaners were very ,friendly, polite. However, they came in and right off the get go, tracked mud all over a brand new foyer runner. They cleaned it for us but the whole idea behind the appointment was to clean carpets and not to create more work. They didn't even offer a discount when we even paid extra for a deeper clean on our rugs. After they finished the job they packed everything up and never asked to walk around to see if we were happy with the work. They just said that they were done and they were off to the next job. I would not use them nor recommend them to friends and family."
