Project: Repair a Deck or Porch
Location: Snowmass Village, CO Date: 08/2018 Project Description: Repair an existing deck Deck Material: Would like recommendation What size deck or porch do you want?: Large (more than 300 sq ft) Request Stage: Planning & Budgeting Desired Completion Date: Timing is flexible Covered by Insurance: No Property Owner: Yes Comment: we have an 8,000sq. ft. deck, installed in early 1970's, where some timbers are warped, making uneven surface for walking.. Timbers are 3" X 6" wide in good condition. We are investigating sanding for smoothness. This requires a sanding machine which can sand down or off nail heads. Smoothness is what we are trying to achieve is a smooth walking surface, using the good timber in place. The sander must be able to remove nail heads, or parts of head. Any suggestions?
