Get matched with top deck pros in Taylor, MI

"This deck replacement was not a straight forward job. The original deck was built over 40 years ago by my husband. It overlooks a deep ravine and the sides of the slope are very slippery this time of year. The crew went to work and in no time the original deck was removed and they started on the supports for the new deck. We now have a beautiful and very sturdy deck which will probably outlast the two of us. We love this deck! Great people who know what they are doing!! Highly recommend Green Shield!!"

"The owner of this company (Tim) is the nicest & honest contractor I have dealt with in years. He tore out the old deck a built a new one within agreed upon budget & time. He even did extras with no charge. Heâ s a good man Ed Randolph"

"Mr. Powell was fantastic throughout my deck project. He was low bidder. He provided great service with specific terms. He was here when he said he would be here - every time. He worked in the mud and rain to ensure the job got done. He handled all permitting and approvals flawlessly. The entire project took less than a month from initial permit approval to final inspection. The site was cleaned up and he also worked around my landscaping without damage. He actually tried to charge me less than the initial bid but I chose to pay him the original bid anyway. On top of all this, he's a nice guy. I highly recommend him for any kind of similar project."

"I was very impressed with the work done on my deck. Everything was top notch, from the time they started till they cleaned up and left. Pleasant, courteous, professional, knew what they were doing and completed in a timely matter. I truly do not mind recommending Home Time Construction and in particular Jeremiah and Tom who did a top notch job! These days I am hard to impress, but this project was quite refreshing with it being professional all the way!"

"John and his crew built me a nice deck. It was exactly what I wanted and there were no problems or surprises. Highly recommend."

"Jm is prompt and to the point. Rinsed the deck of all debris before he started the job of staining. Patiently looked thru color choices with me explaining what worked best to match what already existed. Arrived on time for both cleaning and staining. Wish you could see the before and after. Beautiful, neat job on the rail, lattice and decks. All stain on the deck, no splatter at all. Clean up and the fact that he was as pleased as I, is the cherry on top. I am happy with Jimmey and his work. 100%"

"John was excellent to work with, start to completion! The crew was very kind and flexible to changes, to make our pool side deck exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended for ANY home improvement projects that you wish to make to the homestead!"

"I had a leak in my roof that I had put off fixing due to high quotes from other companies. Mitten Home Co. offered to fix it for a price so much lower than the competition, I curiously asked about a full roof replacement (which was long overdue). The owner, Dimas, quoted a great price, thousands of dollars less than quotes I've received in the past! Dimas is very friendly & will ensure you're getting the best quality shingles. I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable when he went out of his way to inspect my roof's current ventilation system and came up with a plan to improve it. Less than a week later, Mitten Home Co. replaced my whole roof without any issues. Easy process, great pricing, professional service, and efficient. If you're looking for the best value for your roof replacement or repair, look no further."

"Marv was very personable. He gave a very competitive quote, was conscientious about his work and the deck looks excellent."
