Get matched with top deck pros in Vienna, ME

"Randy Dixon is very personable, thorough, patient and efficient. He deferred an electrical matter to a professional electrician, when a danger presented itself. His deck work, however, was perfect. I would hire him in a heartbeat for other home projects. Very professional. A+"

"David and his team are professional, polite, and arrived when he said they would. I had status updates throughout the process. We discussed options so I could stay within my budget. I love my new composite deck. It’s beautiful and it will last for years! Thank you Backshore Home Improvement!!!"

"I highly recommend Archadeck of Central Maine. The carpenter, Garret, except for a few hours on the first carpentry day and the entire last day, worked on this by himself. He did a phenomenal job! On the last day he was joined by Preston and he did a great job as well. This project had some unique elements. First, was the slope of the ground. Second, was the design. The lower deck was designed to hold a hot tub (not shown here) to be accessed from the upper deck in the area between the two railings. One whole side of the upper deck remained without a railing as I wanted deck access to be at any point along the footpath. It'll be my task to backfill the gap between the deck surface and the footpath. Total number of days worked on this project was six (6). TJ and Jessi are easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. We are THRILLED with the results!!"

"I called Mike from Florida for work on a rental property. This is the second time he has done some work for me. The jobs were to Jack up and straighten a porch, clean out basement, shampoo carpets and repair a window. When we got back in May we went over to see how everything looked and he did a fine job on all projects. He stuck to his estimate which I thought was very reasonable. A very reliable guy who is gaining a good reputation."

"Without exaggeration I am thrilled with Josh's work. Thank you Josh (and crew)! My project was a 30 year old deck with a lot of rotten wood. For a fraction of the cost of a new deck, Josh was able to restore it. Feels new again. Upon close inspection it is obvious that the workmanship is top notch."

"When I needed the very best contractor in Central Maine, I turned to Craig Construction—just as I had for two previous major renovation projects. There was never any question about who I wanted to trust with my home. Working with Shawn Craig is unlike working with most contractors. His craftsmanship is exceptional, and he is committed to quality in every detail. Shawn isn’t interested in cutting corners or building houses as quickly as possible. He builds homes that are meant to last, and it shows in every aspect of his work. His team of subcontractors understands the high standards he expects and consistently delivers outstanding workmanship. They don’t just complete their portion of the project—they offer thoughtful advice and take genuine pride in creating something exceptional."

"This crew did a great job repairing my deck, jacking and leveling my addition, building a new retaining wall to support the addition as well as new cedar shingle siding. They are hard working and skilled as well as polite and honest. I will be happy to hire Nate and his crew to do more projects in the future."

"Prompt, reasonable and professional. Good crew. Came up with great ideas on other projects I have in mind. Love my new ceiling, they fixed all the rot in my subfloors and prepped for new flooring. Would recommend for all your weekend projects. Did I mention they work efficiently? what they got done in a weekend probably would have taken a 4 man crew a week. Nick, Gerry and Frank are the crew for you."
