When they began tearing out the old deck they found it wasn't properly installed. They could have completed the job based on the original quote but their advice, and I concurred, was to replace the frame and footings which gave me a completely new deck and attach it to the house (which was not the case with the original deck). "Mike and Ray were amazing. We hired them to do renovation work on our wooden deck. They built and replaced two staircases, reinforced all of the railings and balusters, installed lattice work around the perimeter of the bottom of the deck, replaced all of the deck caps and installed new concrete footing at the base of the deck. Their workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. They arrived early, worked neatly, cleaned up and left the deck in magnificent shape. I highly recommend them.
