  Comment: I would like to get an estimate for Demolition Beautiful old house (1925 - plaster...) - we have several rooms in the home that we need to demo a little, specifically:1. Second floor family bath- remove tile floors, plaster walls (mostly tiled) while retaining old cast iron tub (we will get it refinished) and large built in cupboards2. Remove plaster walls and ceiling on a landing closet and first floor closet so we can reconfigure to make it a stacked laundry on the landing.3. First floor family room: Remove a 1960s dropped drywall ceiling in a converted screen porch and remove a derelict wooden tv wall built in. In the same room, remove and hopefully reclaim tongue and groove cedar wall paneling so we can reuse it on the new vaulted ceilings we plan to construct.4. Basement: remove a closet at the bottom of the stairs (about 10 feet wide and 3 feet deep) so we can build in a kitchenette/bar area there.5. Kitchen: a recent contractor installed cheap engineered wood on top of two layers of old flooring. We want to disassemble the kitchen island, move it out of the room (my husband is a licensed General Contractor, so can get the plumbing & electrical taken care of), cut the flooring along the line of the cabinets, and take the flooring out down to the original 1925 sub floor. We also need help carrying the island Silestone countertop to another room temporarily. We are pretty sure there is no asbestos, but will need to confirm. Thats the project.
