"Both Jason & Leanna were very nice & a joy to be around. They did a marvelous job and cleaned up the mess. They even helped me with a little extra job while the wall behind the walk-in shower was opened up, to install pre-cut styrofoam between the studs. I gave them a nice tip for the extra 5 min. to install them. Also, A.J. was the Sales Rep. that came out to show us your products and designs and he was Super helpful. He took time to explain everything and was very helpful with our choices of what we could get for our budget. Other than being high in price, their reviews & BBB ratings were good, so we paid the price that was higher than others how came out. It looks like we certainly got the quality & layout we paid for as well as a good Warranty!"

"Torlando and the Color Theory team first provided an extremely helpful
color consultation to help us determine the interior paint colors for
our living room/dining room, hallway, kitchen, and guest bedroom. We'd
had difficulty deciding on colors given how our home flows from one room
to the other, but Torlando had excellent suggestions and had clearly
taken mental note of objects and furniture in the home to give him
insight into our color preferences.

Next a team of 2-3 painters appeared every day for several days. Our project leader was Caitlyn, and
she was awesomely organized, witty, and a master at patching wall
cracks and other unsightly areas. She was assisted by Josh and Miles.
All three were really fun to have around. They were super careful to
clean up at the end of the day so we could use our home, and they were
similarly careful prepping and covering furniture (we had ceilings done
as well).

The whole operation was incredibly well organized.
They were able to use our garage as a storage area for their painting
equipment, which was tidily put away every night. I think they treated
our garage better than we treat our garage, frankly :)

We will definitely have Color Theory back again for two remaining rooms, and likely the exterior of the house some time next year. Great people! I honestly miss them now that they're not showing up daily!"

The owner e-mailed me after I purchased a coupon off of Angie's list.  We agreed upon service without about 2-3 weeks out from the date of purchase.  He contacted me by phone prior to the appointment to confirm time and location.  He also used this call to ask me about the construction of my home and chimney to get a better idea of cleaning needs.  He arrived promptly and was thorough and professional.  He of course used drop cloths and spoke to my wife about the service.  The fireplace has not looked better and we have had prior cleanings from other companies.  Most important was his advice on cleaning the glass on the doors covering the fireplace insert.  These doors were terribly soiled and the prior homeowners probably never cleaned them in all the years since the home was build.  We were almost ready to get rid of the cover all together, but after he cleaned it and recommended future care, it looked new again.

Happy with the service, care and professionalism. We would use this company again.

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"He came right on the schedule he gave me.  He was very personable.  I showed him the things that needed to be done on the yard.  He seem to really have ideas about landscaping.  He sounded like he had a lot of experience in landscaping.  He gave us different options.  He seem real professional and knows what he was doing.  He emailed his estimate.  He did seem knowledgeable about his field of work.  He gave suggestions.   He also said that he won’t probably be able to the job until July because he has a big job at the moment."
