"Evan responded to our inquiry very rapidly and started out with a base mold test to get a normal reading outside and inside and than at the specific spots we had seen mold at or that were wet from prior leaks. The basement tested high for molds that some mold that may aggravate the human body senses and respiratory system. We discussed a plan of action including getting our insurance company involved. Evan even presented himself personally at the time of our insurance adjusters appearance to assess the area in concern. Dri Right is very knowledgeable and straightforward on what has to be done and how to remediate the area in question. Evan did not waste anytime in getting started and working with us within the timeline of finding which items we could keep. One word of caution, in your insurance policy, make sure you have content damage recovery in the mold coverage clause. If you do not they will cover cost of remediation but not the contents and therefore you will have to work on your taxes to see if you can claim a substantial loss of contents. Dri Right Restoration was very concerned and forthright in their dealing and easy to communicate with and take your personal feeling into consideration as well as hard calls one has to make with mold remediation. Once on the schedule I had to reschedule the job twice due to family medical emergency. Tim Warner couldn't have been more understanding. As the process progressed Tim explained exactly what would happen. He was very truthful with his statements. A crew came in to demo the basement. They removed all the paneling , ceiling and two by fours on the cement walls. This demolition was done rapidly. The DryEffect crew made sure there was no debris left in my home. They also disposed of the material . The next phase was where the basement was washed with a solution to get rid of the mold. Again Tim thoroughly explained what was going to happen and the smells that may occur. Tim was true to his word again ,the basment was washed and ready for the encapsulated solution. The basement had to dry thoroughly , that took awhile. DryEffect finished with encapsulating the basement. The crew worked efficiently and left no mess or evidence that they had been there. Tim and i met once the job was done. He took me through the basement and explained everything that was done. I was waiting for the sales pitch that a lot of companies do to try and get more money out of you. That never happened. Tim was honest and direct. The cost of the project was what the estimate stated. I wish all businesses had the same ethics as Tim Warner and DryEffect. I will forever recommend DryEffect to anyone. I chose DryEffect because of the competitive bid and the warranty offered was better than other bids.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
