Comment: The leak in the ceiling has been very slow. It only seems to leak when it has rained very hard and is blowing outside. The leak is on the second story of a 3 story townhouse along the edge of the wall above the window. The area that is discolored and damp is about 1ft square. Outside this window in a small overhanging roof. If I had to guess, I think it might be due to the flashing along there somewhere.

Comment: My condo bathroom ceiling shows water leak from unit above. My insurance company sent an adjuster to check. He then sent me a fix scope file for the contractor. I'm trying to find a general contractor who is able to locate whatever caused the leak inside the ceiling and fix the ceiling, part of the wall, and it seems the toilet needs to be take off and then put back during the wall fix. I would need the fix to be done as soon as possible as I need to go out of town soon.

Comment: We have identified a rodent problem in a wall. Pest control has indicated they can't do anything until the wall is opened up. The wall has a stone facade, with two inserts for a gas fireplace and a media cabinet. We are probably looking at removing the surface, remvoving the bump-out for the fireplace and media cabinet, and repairing. This job will need to be coordinated with pest control.

Comment: A 1920's home built on a hillside. As adequate looking foundation walls, but the side at the bottom of the hill looks like it could use reinforcement. Interested in earthquake proofing and otherwise adding additional support to the home. Would like to jack up the center foundation with piers to reduce some floor sloping above.
