He has great attention to detail, and truly cares about the quality of his workmanship; If that means two coats of primer and two coats of paint to cover the previous color, he does it without you, the home owner, even having to ask. "Vista started this job 9/17. From the beginning we were told by the salesman Eric and project manager Keith that the job would be finished to our satisfaction, all our concerns would be addressed. The roofing went well, we are pleased. The siding was a bigger job than they seemed prepared for. They removed wood siding and replaced rotten plywood. The siding looked fine except for an area in the front of our home which is vertically uneven. Holding a straight edge to the siding we have a one inch gap in the vertical level which was not properly prepared. Some our window frames are horrible. One of them has nails driven right in the center of the frame, others have gapping joints and one is wavy. They replaced our perfectly fine topped gutter with a 'top of the line' gutter which isn't topped so is now full of leaves. We live in the woods what were they thinking? At the signing of this contract our salesman Eric said he would do some porch screen framing and stain our new front door. He wanted payment of $600 stating this was his side job. After many, many phone calls, most being ignored, we have gotten no where. Brian Rudd finally came out and told us these problems would be corrected. Last we heard from him was 11/17. He emailed that the siding crew would be out that week to correct window trim. We never heard from or saw any of them again. They never installed the stove vent, stained the front door or corrected our siding issues. I've waited for spring thinking I would hear from them. Too bad, things started out well. Not a good company."

"We were given the names of four men to either repair or replace our cellar door by neighborhood people. We left messages with each, some a few times and never received a call back. So I decided to try HomeAdvisor. No sooner than I put the request thru that Milo Campbell called us. He was ok with the appointment time that I chose on the website. When he showed up he was friendly and we felt that he was a really nice guy. He checked our cellar door and agreed that he could repair the doors easily and at a great price. In fact he began fixing it while we were talking. He went to Curtis Lumber to get a few parts and came back and completed the job. We were so impressed with his honesty that we asked about another job which we are considering in the near future. And, I recommended him to our daughter."

"John and his team did an excellent job painting the house and detached garage.  The paint was applied thickly and evenly - I expected that I would have to ask him back to touch up some areas but I couldn't find any flaws.  And unlike other painters that I have hired in the past, they kept sharp borders and didn't get stray paint on any lights, switches, doors, etc.  They cleaned up after themselves well enough that you wouldn't have known they were there.  We're very pleased, and it was well worth the price.
