"I recently hired Nunez Drywall to fix a hole in my wall and install some new bathroom appliances, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I contacted them, they were prompt and professional, providing a detailed quote and timeline for the project."

"Me and my wife were very happy with the service and quality of work that we got from Zohar and his people when they remodeled our bathroom.
Each day, Zohar sent his workers and they arrived on time, worked hard, were polite and cleaned up each day before leaving. The project manager Reuven came by regularly to check on the work and see the progress.
The bathroom that we did with Zohar included a shower, New floor, Paint and bathroom fixtures.
The materials that we used, were ordered by the office of Zohar and they arrived prior to the time when the workerds needed them. In general, We are happy and we do recommend this company for and remodeling project.

"Very professional from start to finish. He gave the drywall the smooth finish we were looking for. Can't even tell where the seams were. Excellent job. I would certainly use Al again.

"We did a flloring project with cielo, moving some walls, termite treatment and interior paint. Tom Cohen was our project manager. Honestly, he is very responsible and responsive, he over delivered on what he promised and also gave us a plumbing service and a new faucet for free while we were deep into the project. The crews are very proffesional and they respected our home and premisses. Tom was here almost every day to supervise the job and to make sure that everything is coordinated with no hiccups. I used to call him with questions at least twice a day and he allways picked up the phone or got back to me asap, with a lot of patience allways answered my questions and made sure to cover every area of concern that we had. He even brought us a small present for Christmas. Overall, couldn't ask for a smoother and a worry free project. I would definatelly use this company again"

"Lalo is awesome. He is always on time (usually early) and does a great job. This report is for the most recent work of painting three bathrooms, but he also has done extensive drywall repairs when I was remodeling my kitchen, and minor framing work (new doorway). I highly recommend Lalo because he is friendly, listens to what you want, and then actually does it. What a concept."

"Easy process on our end. The installers did an amazing job considering the walls were not straight in our kitchen."

"We didn't end up using DryMaster and ended up using a company that my in-laws had used previously. However, if I hadn't had that referral, I would have definitely went with DryMaster.
We were desperate and wanted the mold cleaned up ASAP. DryMaster's office manager was always on top of things and very communicative. She was able to fit Luis into our schedule the same day I called and Luis actually ended up coming after hours when we were back home from work. He was very professional, courteous, and good about following up the following days. I appreciated that he stayed calm and never tried to scare us in big repairs.

"Review Edit:
The job has been completed so I feel like I can now give a full honest review. All-in-all, Goodfellas did a garage conversion for me and it turned out pretty well. I'd be happy to work with them again on the right projects.
I met with Danny and walked through the project (converting a crappy old garage to a studio space). He had tons of good suggestions. I told him my max was $30k and he quoted me $29,900 which I thought was a bit strange, but it fit my price range. We signed up for the job on the spot. It was a little strange that before the job even started he asked me to go onto Yelp and Angie's List to give him a good review, but I did it to make sure our relationship started on the right foot (hence the review edit).
The job started within 2 weeks and moved fast! He initially quoted me two months and the entire job was done 16 days from starting. To be honest, I was impressed but I also felt like the initial time estimate was so far off that he was sandbagging. I would have preferred that he told me that the job would take 3 weeks from the start so I could plan my payments accordingly.
I was putting in both lighting and an air conditioner and I thought it was a bit strange that he asked me to go out and buy them. Most contractors I worked with in the past would find those things then send me the specs for the thumbs-up, which I prefer. I bought both pieces and it turns out the lighting kit was wrong (they told me to get an 8 foot track lighting kit and I could only find a 6 footer and the wires were in the wrong place) so it was a bit frustrating that I had to return that one and ask them to go buy one themselves.
The biggest issue I had was going way over budget. To be honest, it's not like they ripped out walls and found mold. There were huge additional costs added on that wasn't from weird surprises. They were things that should have been identified in the initial quote. For example, I told them my lighting and power needs in the inspection and they didn't change. However, when the electrician came out he said I needed to upgrade my panel and the cost would be thousands of dollars. Likewise, when filling in gaps in the walls the siding of the garage starting coming lose so the whole outside needed to be done. Another hit in the thousands of dollars. In the end when I max quoted $30k the job ended up costing close to $40k. All of the costs came up suddenly mid-job so there was a lot of pressure to pay the additional money right away, which, naturally, caused some major issues (I'm not the kind of guy that can make $10k appear out of nowhere).
The job was done exceptionally well except I felt a few notes we had in the initial meeting were not done properly and by the time I found out it was too late. The most glaring was the flooring. From the first day I told them the room would be an audio studio and recommended a soft, rubbery flooring that you see in many studios. He said he had a great idea for it and I'd love it. When they finished the flooring, I came home and saw painted concrete blocks that were uneven (the original concrete had some cracks, so I assume they just laid them on top). There were jagged cracks in between. Not good looking and literally the worst thing for audio. I have now put rugs over them which helps a lot, but it was a disappointing choice.
The rest was amazing: the AC works great, drywall looks amazing, the lighting works fantastic, and the new roof is leak-free after a few rainstorms. Danny was very communicative especially over text.
To get the best out of Goodfellas, I would strongly recommend to be very clear on your expectations and give constant feedback. If you stay on top of the job I'm sure you'll have a great experience."

Load-bearing walls support the weight of your home's structure, including floors, roofs, and other building components. Non-load-bearing walls, on the other hand, serve only as partitions or room dividers. All exterior walls are typically load-bearing, even if they have design features like bump-outs or large glass panels. These walls need precise construction to ensure your home's structural integrity.
Removing a wall costs anywhere from $300 to $10,000 , depending on the size and whether it's load-bearing. Removing load-bearing walls is a more labor-intensive process and typically costs more. To get an accurate estimate for your project, consult a local contractor with the specifics of your wall.
Yes, there are other projects you can tackle at the same time when building a wall. Upgrading to energy-efficient windows or doors can enhance your home’s sustainability and can be integrated into the wall construction process. You might also consider removing existing walls to create an open-concept layout or building a home addition for extra space. Coordinating multiple projects can be cost-effective and streamline your renovation timeline. Discuss your goals with a contractor to help you plan effectively and maximize the benefits of your renovation.
The cost to build a partition wall varies depending on the size and type you choose. Half walls that don't reach the ceiling cost about $10 to $20 per linear foot . Full partition walls made with drywall may cost more due to additional materials and labor. Prices for accordion or panel walls vary widely based on materials and design. Factors like electrical work, insulation, and finishes will also influence your total cost.
Framing is the backbone of wall construction, creating a secure structure that supports everything else. Quality framing ensures that studs, electrical wiring, and plumbing are properly integrated into your home's design. A professional installer uses reliable materials like wood or metal to build a framework that meets building codes and ensures your wall is durable and safe.
