After spending time to look at the project with Dave MacKensie, I knew we'd hit a far better professional level with him and Capital Fence. He clearly had years of experience in the business. A fence project isn't a huge undertaking, but he was thorough in his assessment of the project, had great suggestions on how it should be done, including around plants and trees... and the estimate came in 20% lower than the more widely known company! When Capital's team actually did the project, they were painstaking and detail oriented. The fence was effectively built in place - no pre-fab sections - and it looks great. It is so good that our next door neighbors now want theirs done as well. Overall, we couldn't have had a better experience."

Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. The whole process couldn’t have gone better, and I’m happy to recommend Freedom Fence & Deck for all your fencing needs!"
