"My actual job was for replacement of a double gate for my wood fence and installation of a concrete walkway from an outbuilding to my patio (which also required relocating sprinkler heads and some unforeseen electrical repair). "Strongly recommend asking for breakdown of quoted price to ensure you understand what you are paying for. After the job was completed it was communicated that $250 of a $600 job was for gas. It took about 3 hour to repair a fence where old wood was used (wood that was previously removed). My fault for not asking for a quote breakdown prior to securing the job. Had we known this.. I would have pursued other options. Lesson learned. Thanks."
