"It went very smoothly from first contact through job execution. Some neighbors had recommended them as a previous contractor never did the fencing job he had promised. In the end, they were less costly and did a fantastic job."

"had alot of old debris and fencing to be removed in order to install 226' of new 6' vinyl panel fencing. all work was done in time projected by very experienced crew. Working with Bernie Macauley (landscaping) and Marc Sully (fencing) was a pleasure. And coordinating the work scheduling with Nolisha in the office made everything go smoothly. Have received so many compliments on how good the property looks with the new fencing. I could't be more satisfied with the results. Am sure I will be calling Macauley Bros in the future. "Fantastic experience with ABS. I’m embarrassed to say when they told me Colleen would be out to measure, I thought , a girl ??!! Total projection since I can’t even measure a rug. She really knows her stuff ! Had great ideas and was completely understanding of keeping my little terror dog from having any slack to start to dig. As you can see my land is hilly and they got this right to the ground. Perfect ! I was also concerned about keeping the view. Colleen explained a 4 foot fence would take care of this. She also encouraged me to sit on the deck with someone holding a measuring stick to be sure it wouldn’t impact the view. I love the way she thinks and communicates! Every-time I had a question she had the answer. She explained things in a way that wasn’t condescending or showed annoyance. I think I was annoying lol. I would’ve wanted to tell me to shut up. The guys who showed up worked nonstop. It was pouring rain and they didn’t care. I told them they could come on a better day but they kept plugging away. I am so impressed with this entire crew , including the excellent communication of the office staff ! Customer service is alive and well on the Cape. Just call ABS fence. You’re welcome !"

"After buying our new place, my husband and I were unhappy with the damaged fencing. Thankfully, my colleague suggested DeAngele Landscape & Construction to us. Their expert team suggested installing new fencing. We picked chain link fencing and were satisfied with their nominal charges. To anyone looking for reliable fencing services, we recommend this company."

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.
Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.
Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
