I got a quote and Angel was very willing to work within my price range. The day they arrived everything went smoothly once again. The only thing I would say would made it perfect was a better invoice system. I was given a generic receipt with no information of the work performed. I also never received a written estimate. Overall, I would definitely use J & L Concrete Company again as I was more than happy with there professionalism and thoroughness.

"Mike Goodman and his team did a great job building an overhang for the front door. I had given him a picture of what I wanted. It was not exactly like the picture, but in all fairness, he said he would get as close as possible. It still turned out very nice. In addition, Mike added three railings to deck stairs. The project took five days, which is what he projected. He was sensitive to my need for details and we kept in constant contact through out the project. I live in Maryland and the project was in Connecticut."

"Tonin was able to quickly provide an estimate for repairs to my cinder block and slab back porch, which included: 1. repair of cinder block wall which the previous owner said was damaged when an excavator backed into the porch 2. break-up/removal of old concrete stairs and replacement with new stairs made of cinder block and blue stone, and 3. patching holes on the surface of the concrete slab. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the work. He did not try to up-sell me, like another contractor attempted to do. He listened to what I wanted done, he explained what he would need to do, which was exactly what I was looking for. He showed up on the day and time he promised. (I have dealt with other contractors and it’s always a bad sign when they show up late on the first day) Tonin did a fantastic job and his repairs were beautiful. He is a very skilled mason and completed the job on time and for the price quoted. I would definitely hire him again for any future masonry work. "
