My dissatisfaction is with the owner of Acra Construction.  He required a 50% down payment and contract signature before beginning work (remember this is a $600 job).  The job took less than one day but, it took weeks to get on the schedule. In fairness this was during the monsoon season.  My complaint was the way the owner treated me.  The invoice listed unnecessary information such as the profit percentage and amount paid by the owner for supervision.  I went to Acra Construction to better understand the invoice and miscellaneous charges.  After talking with the owner, I learned the miscellaneous calculations were incorrect  - they were approximations.  I've been a computer analyst for 35 years so I am a logical thinker and can read an invoice.  I felt the owner talked to me in a condescending tone and instructed me to 'just look at the bottom number' for the invoice amount. During the meeting, I asked him for color samples.  He replied the only colors were white and dark brown. Later I learned from the sales person there were numerous colors for downspout/gutters. I selected a light grey that matched my patio perfectly.
God willing, this will be the last job I request from Acra Construction.
