Small jobs welcome

"This s my first major repair project ever done to 15 years old home. I have severe dry rots posts to the point that my roof can collapse anytime and so not safe to be around. I hired B K Handyman because of his extensive experience, genuinely nice, respectful and explain his approach of repairing and why. On top of that B K Handyman picked the best materials for your house. His finish work is unbelievable, I don t think I need to re caulk or re paint the area again for the next 5 years. I appreciated you for accepting this project and provided tips on how to prevent the dry rot in the future. I surely recommend B K Handyman Services to others r out there. Bill can handle big or small projects at affordable price."

"Great husband and wife team, very nice people. They completed the work per the estimate. The only thing not up to my expectations was their follow through in getting back to me. First with the estimate, which came 2 days after I was told I would have it. and after the work on my sliding door was finished, they were supposed to get back to me on whether or not they could find new wheels for the door. They said I should hear the next day, it's been over a month and I never heard back from them."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Dayton, OR

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.

Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.

Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
