Small jobs welcome

"Don arrived on time for the appointment and started work quickly.  Our priority task was the installation of a number of light fixtures, which he was able to complete efficiently with time to spare for a few extra handyman tasks not on our initial list.  We also are preparing for a door replacement project, and Don was able to give an assessment of the required effort and a few flexible options for engaging his services on the project.  Overall a very professional and experienced handyman, and we expect to work with him again in the future.

Small jobs welcome

"I hired David and his staff to handle small projects around my home. They worked quickly and efficiently to complete the projects to my satisfaction. David was patient, understanding, and offered suggestions. His workmanship is commendable. Pleased with his work, I asked him to provide an estimate for another project that I wish to complete by year end. I would highly recommend David and his staff to friends, family and acquaintances."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Chatham, NJ

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.

Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.

Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
