Previously, another contractor had installed a drain and a shallow cement topping, but it did not work. With heavy rains (2/2023), mold had returned. J-G Handyman's approach involved significant waterproofing -- removing six feet of soil, laying a wall-blanket, sealing walls, replacing soil and drain pipe, cementing top, and a final top-sealing.
