"Gil, RAF and Luis installed a new Lenox furnace/AC in my condo yesterday. They were here on time, worked quickly and were done earlier than I expected. All my interactions with them were informative and friendly and at the conclusion of the installation they took the time to show me, and explain to me what they had done. The new thermostat is a bit of a challenge, but they got me started in the setup process so that I could complete it. Before they left they thoroughly cleaned the areas they had worked in and traveled through. You will be very fortunate if you get this crew to install your new furnace."

"UIC was quick to respond and come up with the quote. Quote was very competitive against others. They were not so eager to do service on my old water heater though (I asked them to replace anode rods). I decided to go with them since their availability was good (2wks) and ratings on AngiesList were excellent while price was competitive. The job went well, though not without hiccups. I was expecting new boiler to be placed on the wall next to the foundation; though they built a new wall in the middle of the mechanical room, which costed me space; they said it will be 3K more to put in on the wall AFTER they arrived on the job with all the equipment and team. They refused to drain old water from my radiant heat system, saying I need a plumber to come for $290 per hour for 4 hours to drain the system and look for preexisting leaks. Had to hire some other plumber who took care of the problem for $215 in a mere hour. After the project was complete, system started to experience leaks. It was due to new drain connector that they decided to use for this project, and I was apparently first customer for it. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to fix the leak, they had to replace the connector, which addressed the issue. In addition, the system was eligible for rebate; however the rebate amount promised ended up being $450 less than actually paid; they quoted natural gas rebate though my system was on propane, which I told them upfront."

"We've used Atlantic Heating & AC for many years and wouldn't consider any other company. Atlantic is extremely responsive, priced reasonably, and they always do a great job. We've never once had to call them back to resolve any issues associated with their work, and they've done a lot of work over for us over the last 9 years. Recently, our water heater died very suddenly; I came home from my office and water was leaking out of the water heater onto the basement floor. Within minutes, their service manager was guiding me over the phone regarding which valves to turn off etc. and he had me take a few pics to send to him. "Not easy finding an HVAC company willing to install a gas steam boiler. These guys did it all and did it well, removing the old oil burner and oil tank, installing a Weil McClain boiler including steam piping and hot water, installing gas piping, electrical and plumbing, including all inspections, even leaving me a temporary hot water heater until the furnace installation was completed. They fully accommodated my schedule as well. The town electrical inspector who came after installation was complete confirmed their good reputation."
