"Unfortunately, I needed an HVAC company to fix my AC during a heat wave. Most companies were 5+ days out before they could even diagnose our problem. Called 3 highly visible companies, from their marketing, who said they wouldn't even work on our unit. I went with a referral from a neighbor, mistake. This company took a week to get to us then the tech went MIA for 5 days with no contact when he said he would be back tomorrow with parts. Won't mention their name as there could have been multiple uncontrollable reasons why. I then did a lot of research on different companies across multiple review websites (including Angies) and Excel Air stood out. Once I spoke to the office staff, great experience, they had a tech out to our home in 2 days with our problem diagnosed. "We recently had Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning come to our house to inspect our furnaces before turning the furnaces on during the cooler winter months and they discovered that both units had gas leaks. The system is 20 years old so it wasnâ t a complete surprise although we had hoped to put off replacing them for about 1-2 years. The technician/ inspector was knowledgeable, thorough and professional in showing us pictures of the worn, damaged furnaces (2). He explained the options for repairs and replacement as well as pricing considerations. In the end we decided to have them install 2 new furnaces and 2 new heat pumps to replace our old AC units.
