"I just had my entire heating and cooling system replaced by Hackney Inc. Drew Hackney was the most knowlegeable and thorough HVAC contractor of the five that bid on the project. He was the only person that performed a complete home energy survey as part of his proposal. The survey allowed him to dial in the exact equipment for the highest efficiency system for the job. The components he recommended were all highly rated, quality products from top to bottom. Additionally, Drew was the only contractor that was aware of all of the rebates available from the state and energy companies, $1,950 of rebates in my case. And, after the Upgrade California HERS inspection, the inspector indicated the installation, including all new duct work (the 30 year old duct work was shredded), was just about perfect. The ducting was rated at 97.5% efficiency. The new furnace is 95% efficient, and Hackney ran all new coolant lines to the 16 SEER compressor. With the rebates, and using superior equipment, the price was less than 3 of the other 4 bids."

"Season Control installed our AC fast and efficiently! We had 3 other estimates and all of them complained it was going to be a hard job and take 5 days at least. Season Control gave us a fair estimate, never complained and the job was done in 1 1/2 days as they said! They followed up afterwords to be sure we had our AC and Heater serviced on time and did an excellent job of that as well. He was very professional, courteous and explained in detail with photos of the furnace (which is in the attic!!) what the problems were. He did not pressure me, answered questions succinctly and honestly, and gave me more than adequate time to evaluate the offer, cost, etc. with alternatives. Edwin treated me with respect and did not talk down to me. This was a refreshing experience since I am a senior and a woman. I decided, after conferring with knowledgable family members, to buy a new furnace through Power Pro. The old furnace was a cheaper one and 20 years old that builder had put in. To repair was not cost-effective. The new one will be installed immediately.I recommend this company highly and will follow up if I experience any problems with their follow up. This is the sixth house I have owned. After bad experiences with home warranty companies that take your money and do not respond timely or well, I get better work and worth it in the long run to use local services."
