He then noticed a major problem with our water heater. Thank goodness he saw it because it was on the verge of giving out. Fernando came out and installed a new water heater. "Chris is a consummate professional and a very cool guy! Prompt, courteous,and patient with all the kids and other distractions going on with my job. After the diagnosis with the Trane XL80 furnace I own he made very prudent recommendations. The main circuit board was fried due most likely due to years of minor power surges and after confirmation, even though he did not have the OEM replacement in his vehicle, he came back the next day with the correct part and replaced it. He also found potential code violations with the original installation and repaired/replaced the defective work. He is multi talented and not a hard sell guy. He recommended that we not replace our current furnace as it is in very good condition. A more prudent idea would be be to consider a whole house surge protection device attached the our main electrical panel to protect all appliances that have circuit boards now days. I offered him the work on the spot but as a man of integrity he had to decline based on his status as an electrician, he was not properly certified per state regulations to due the work. If I need any work done within his capabilities, I will hire him in a moments notice. What more could you want. Prompt excellent communication skills, fair price and an all around good experience. The gentleman who was supposed to come to my house was running late, but he called ahead to let me know. Then when he got to my house, he diagnosed my furnace and called with me options and prices so I could make a informed decision. He explained the problem really well and when he fixed my furnace, it worked immeadiately. Completely recommend Dick's Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. in Sumner. They are awesome!"

Our furnace blower went out and it was either no heat or a terrible burning smell which set our smoke detectors off.
