Comment: We currently have forced air heating from a furnace and are interested in getting a quote for installing hydronic radiant floor heating throughout the home instead of using the furnace. The home has new megaloc/quick-locking laminate flooring installed that are supposedly suitable for underfloor heating. We would like to know the difference in short and long term costs to put the radiant heating directly under the laminate flooring vs. below the subfloor (we have a crawl space under the home). Thanks!

Comment: I would like to replace my current furnace with electric radiant heat in my floors. I'm going to replace all the flooring material. I'm assuming by doing this I can use the closet the furnace is in for something else, it is taking up space in the kitchen. I will have access to the space starting this Sunday.
