"Ken, the owner, came out and did the estimate personally. We decided we needed to get 3 estimates and asked the others to quote the same equipment Ken did. We had an old Carrier system which had given us no end of trouble installed by one of the big HVAC companies in town which I will never use again. We opted for a top of the line Trane system this time. Ken worked with us to adjust his bids to quote the same equipment that the others were quoting. We had Ken come out to do some duct sealing and cold air return enlargement a few years back, so we went to him first. Ken was easy to work with, on time and provided the lowest bid, so we went ahead. The crew showed up on time and installed the system in one day despite allowing for two. They did a thorough job, cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous and considerate. When we had the independent duct seal test done, the tester indicated that he was always happy to inspect their work, since it was consistently well done. When the county inspector came to sign off the permit, he seemed to feel the same way. This is a family company who consistently do good honest work and are easy to work with. We signed up for Golden Aire's maintenance program and they extended the labor warranty to 10 years. One of the other bids we got was from a larger company that sends us postcards pretty regularly even though we have not used them in the past. Their bids were 25-35% higher for the same equipment and they were a real pain to deal with, just getting the bids."

She was very helpful and with Wes the technician who discovered a capacitor in one of the units that was about to fail. He installed a new one in a very professional manner. "Threw a part on Saturday with about 30 people over. Overuse of the facilities caused the plumbing to back up into the bath tubs and such on Sunday. Called and got a next day appointment after the backed up water started to subside. Plumber arrived within window and receive the 1hr heads up call as was explained. Plumber lived locally and understood construction methods on this old development, explained that most didn't have what is now reuqired, an outdoor two-way cleanout. Explained he would first attempt to locate one using a camera system before going through the expense of instaling one. Performed all digging and installation quickly, showing work progress at each stage. Once installed ran rooting tool and then ran camera with me present to show the condition of the line and where the problem points were further down with roots."

window. This was the middle of winter and it needed to be handled immediately. The window was an old style
single-pane window and we decided to replace it with something more energy efficient.
I contacted Manuel and gave him the property manager?s contact information. He made an immediate appt to take measurements of the window and he placed the order for a new window. As soon as the window was ready, he picked it up and arranged for another appointment at the property to do the installation. He even alerted us to another potential problem on the property. 
Everything was handled very efficiently with minimal effort on my part. I have complete confidence in Manuel. He has always handled things very honestly and efficiently and he doesn?t overcharge.
