"We are very happy with the work that was done by Unique installing a new gas boiler and tying it into our 1940’s hot water heating system. The estimator Mike, took time measuring every room to be sure we get just the right size unit needed for our house. (An estimator, from another company, didn’t size all the rooms, wanted to put in a smaller boiler and at a higher cost!). The installation was painless. The work was done in one day which included removal of our old system. The new system is extremely efficient and we already have noticed significant savings on gas and electric. Great company to deal with. Would highly recommend."

"We recently moved into a house built in 1987 with the original air conditioning unit, which constantly ran without stopping.  It was a brutal summer, but it was definitely not running properly.  Joe came out himself to take a look.  He took a look at the entire system and suggested that we service the AC to make it function properly and not constantly run.  He also changed the air filter in the furnace.  I appreciated the fact that he did not push a new air conditioning system in the house considering the unit we have is 25+ years old.  He also gave us a few ideas on how to make our home more energy efficient.  He did a great job.

"I needed repairs or replacement for a furnace at rental property. I submitted a request through Home Advisor, and within seconds I got a call from Frank. Frank visited the property the same day (10/16), and came back the next day to fixed the furnace. I spoke to the tenant, and she said she now has heat. Prior to contacting Old Skool I contacted a contractor who had done work on the furnace for the last several years. They advised me that the furnace could not be fixed and that they would not even consider repairing it. The only option the other company provided was replacement at almost a cost of $3,000. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review.
