As a single woman running my own home and being very particular.....it is extremely important to be able to discuss the job, hear all the details, and employ someone who is honest, honorable, well qualified, neat, and highly informed. I first hired Rob for the drain problem. He accomplished that efficiently and neatly at a reasonable price. We discussed options for a back up for the sump pump. Having a finished basement, I am always concerned about water. I have never lost electricity during a rain storm....but the possibility always takes up space in my brain. "I called in the late morning and the friendly office person took down all my information and gave me a window of time between 2-4 PM. She later called and said that the serviceman got done early with his morning job and would like to know if he can come earlier. The repairman, Andrew, was professional and knowledgeable. He opened the heating system access doors and found an error code. He promptly fixed the issue and also cleaned another part, which he said could give problems in the future. He took the time to explain why the problem occurred and what he did to fix it. He also took down the make/model of the heating system in case it needs more work in the future. Since there were not parts required, I was only charged the minimum service fee. The heat is working solidly now."

"Our old unit had broken and we needed a new unit as soon as possible, given the summer heat. We called Mike's on July 9 and they gave us an afternoon appointment on the 11th. They arrived within the time window they had set and - despite some unanticipated obstacles created by the size of the window and the old air conditioner sleeve - completed all work within two hours. They cleaned up the space and called about an hour after leaving to be certain all was functioning well. 
    The personnel who came, Ray and his assistant, were model workers, and at the main office, the owner Howard Lupowitz, was straightforward in his dealing with me and a pleasure to talk to.
    I couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome and will certainly call on them for all future needs. I recommend them with no hesitation or concern whatever.
