Penguin heating & Air was very quick to respond to my request, fast text reply, sent them pics, they replied with a quote, which was way lower than anyone else on this site, or even our regular guy that we normally use, we scheduled an appointment for the very next day, which was today, he also finished the job the same day! David did a very good job, very professional. Despite a terrible rainy day, he got the job done. When he was done he walked me through with exactly what he did. He also quoted me for a service on an existing unit and his quote was almost $200 less than what our regular guy charges us... We will absolutely be using this company again."

Although the furnace was not technically supported by the manufacturer, the service technician researched the unit on-line, sourced the parts and repaired the unit as promised. "I thought this company did a good job. They put in the furnace and it seems to work. The problem is they never got a permit for the work. Then they never got the inspection from the city. Both the permit and the inspection were part of the contract. I do not know anything about furnaces or furnace installation. Without the inspection, I do not know if the furnace was installed correctly. Is it sending carbon monoxide into our house? I must have called them 100 times in the last year to get the permit and inspection. they simply refuse. I have sent a complaint to the contractor state license board, I do not recommend this contractor."

"Top energy solutions did a highly professional and skilled job in installing two furnaces and two air conditioners and also remove and install new attic insulation in my home. One furnace was gas and one was heat pump electric. If the installers were supposed to be on the job at 8:00am they were here. The installers were highly skilled and cleaned up at the end of each day. George helped us upgrade to a Goodman heat pump, move the furnace to the attic (we gained a closet!), and add ceiling returns to improve airflow. He listened carefully, offered smart options, and never pushed. George and his apprentice were calm and friendly — even with our very loud dogs. Install day had a couple hiccups: gates and doors left open, and a heavy storage bin left on the attic drywall (thankfully it didn’t fall through). But George’s follow-through made the difference.
