"Your Community Heating and Cooling handled our repair. Rakim, the company owner came out the same day, spent some time to thoroughly examine our heat pump. The compressor was not working. He attempted to perform maintenance on the compressor to "buy us some extra time" with the unit but was unable to make it work. Rakim offered two solutions, and recommended what he thought was the best plan of action. We agreed and chose to replace the heat pump. The diagnosis visit was timely and inexpensive ($80) for the level of professionalism we received. Rakim came out the next day, and replaced our unit (a York) with a higher quality Rheem. The work took approximately 2 hours (maybe less) and within a few hours, the temperature in our house decreased from 87 degrees to 75, and when we woke the next morning the house temp was 70 degrees. By the way, both visits occurred between 7 and 9 PM. Rakim recognized our need, and gave selflessly of his time and experience providing us with excellent service. I would recommend that you choose Your Community Heating and Cooling for your needs as well. Both visits were $2330.00. Extremely pleased with all facets."

"I highly recommend Midlothian Mechanical. My parents bought a Ryan Home in a 55+ community a year and a half ago. The home was actually built for them. Entering the first summer (4-6 months after moving in) the AC did not work. My parents called the company that installed the unit to come out and were charged an outrageous amount, when it should have been free under warranty. Never buy anything that Ryan Homes makes!!!!! Entering this summer the unit did not work again. I told my parents to use Midlothian Mechanical. I have used them for 17 years and they helped me out of a similar bind when I bought my house. They were beyond fair to me for the work they had to do at my home. My unit has worked perfectly ever since. When I called for my parents they fit them in right away. They worked 6-8 hours on repairing what the builder put in. In fact the owner of Midlothian Mechanical came out himself to help the technician track down the issues. The unit now works great, but more importantly he/they were beyond fair to my parents. He could have charged them dearly for their time and effort and been well within their right as it was a big task to backtrack and find all the other company's mistakes. I won't give the price but I will tell you I was trying to get them to take more. I definitely believe my parents were under charged for the excellent service and expertise they received. "I feel like it was more of a sales call than anything, they said I needed a new system, but I am not sure they diagnosed why the strip heat is coming on more frequently, so its working and I wish they could have checked freon levels etc, rather than try to quote me a price on an inefficient new one,"

"We had excellent service from Old Dominion Heating and Air Conditioning. He called us within in minutes of receiving our request for service. He was out the very next day. Found the problem went over every detail with us. We had 3 other technicians come out from different companies and none of them could find the problem but they didn't even take the cover off to look at the inside of the Mini Split. Old Dominion gave us a fair price to fix the unit and they ordered the parts and had the work done the day after parts arrived. We can say we are more than pleased with their service and would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to find the problem. Great Job and very polite."

"11/19/24 Taylor Heating and Air did an excellent job of installing a new Heat Pump system for the upstairs area of my home. They replaced the old hydronic system which had gone bad. They did a complete system replacement. The technician Chris O. was extremely knowledgeable, professional and highly respectful of my property. Kept me informed and sort my consent as to how he was planning on accomplishing certain installation requirement. I got about five estimates for this job and Taylor had the most economical package. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC work or more. The whole staff were all very nice people."
