"These guys took time from their busy schedule came to my residence on Easter Sunday to give me a price on repairing insulation mess left by previous contractor. They arrived next day and completed the insulation work and did an excellent job at an excellent price. My thanks to Sagittarius air seal thanks again, Michael Duffy."

"Did a great job on the insulation however they left a hole in the ceiling when they dropped something on the attic floor. Not a big deal but they need to be careful. Overall, amazing work they do all kinds of insulation and they also install radiant barriers on roof joists. They are reasonably priced and the crew is super friendly, pleasure to work with."

"I started noticing wrinkling on the sheetrock walls in my basement and noted light mildew at times on the ceiling and at the baseboards of the two walls which were submerged.I was concerned since I did not want to start having a mold problem - a health risk for my children, family. So I started calling waterproofing companies to get an idea on how to fix this problem. I had about five different companies come out to assess my basement from PA, NJ, DE. They basically told me I needed to waterproof my basement by installing a drain system which would handle the water that was most likely collecting under the walls at the foundation and have that water drain into a sum pump. They also suggested a dehumidifier to rectify my humidity readings of almost 60%! One company even told me that all I needed was to resurface the cement walls and that would take care of the moisture since I did not have actual water coming in, just the evidence of moisture and the mildew; white chalky substance on unfinished walls in the laundry room...The estimates ranged from $4500 to about $10,000. I ended up choosing Rightway because Ron, the manager who came out to do the estimates was frank, knowledgable and took the time to show me exactly where and what they planned on doing. Also, this company's office is about 15 minutes away from my home and had done work in several homes around the area and they had a pretty good rating on Angie's List.
Thank God, they did an amazing job in my basement. I was so, so impressed with their work and clean up.Granted, it was noisy and dusty down there since they had to cut into the cement floor to install the piping but they sealed the door to my basement so no dust would come up to the first floor. Also, there was so much rocks and cement on my back lawn, I thought that was it for my poor grass but my lawn faired pretty well. At the end of the job- when the work crew was taking out their tools and machinery, one member accidently bumped into my back screen door and cracked the glass. The RighWay owner promptly sent people out to replace and fix the glass with shatterproof plexiglass at his expense. I generally am skeptical about the reviews I read thinking that companies pay people to say the nice things about them. But, I can honestly tell you that this is probably the third time in my life I've written a review about a company- and I am up there in age- because I generally don't feel like being bothered, but RightWay truly deserves the recognition. I was impressed with their work and work ethic. And, yes, I am a real person and customer!

"I can?t say enough good things about PeakPro Insulation! Before they came out, my attic wasn?t insulated at all and my house constantly fluctuated in temperature. When their team arrived, they introduced me to solar radiant barrier insulation. The difference was noticeable immediately. After the job was done, every room in my house finally felt consistent in temperature, and even my attic felt cooler while they were working up there. On top of that, they left the attic looking beautiful and clean. Highly recommend"

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

Old insulation should be removed when it shows damage, contamination, or heavy deterioration. If you notice water stains, rodent droppings, mold, or large gaps, plan on taking it out to protect your home’s energy performance and indoor air quality. Removing compromised material eliminates health hazards, cuts energy loss, and sets the stage for a safer, more efficient attic—all while keeping utility bills in check.
R-value measures how well insulation resists heat flow—the higher the number, the better it slows heat transfer. The right R-value keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, saving energy year-round. Match the rating to your climate zone and have a pro verify performance over time, because moisture or settling can lower R-value and cut efficiency.
Attic insulation can stay in place for 80 to 100 years, but its performance often drops after the first 15. As dust, moisture, or mold build up, the material loses R-value and allows heat to escape. Schedule periodic inspections so a pro can tell you when replacement makes sense—helping you keep energy bills down and indoor comfort up.
You can over-insulate an attic. Beyond the recommended R-value, extra layers don’t add efficiency and can trap moisture, leading to mold or reduced performance. A local insulation pro can measure current levels, confirm the right target for your climate, and advise on any adjustments so you avoid future energy or maintenance headaches.
Insulation can be damaged by mold, pests, water leaks, or accidental electrical contact. When the material is compromised, it loses R-value and can introduce health hazards. Removing and replacing affected sections restores efficiency, while routine inspections from a qualified pro help you catch problems early and keep your attic safe and energy-smart.
